SHOOTING AFFRAY.
A Man Near Churches Ferry Fatally Shot.
A report comes from Churchs Ferry to the effect that a shooting affair was indulged in at Brismaid Monday afternoon. The men engaged in it were drunk, and in the quarrel that ensued Samuel Lenderbeck shot a man named James Fitzpatrick, who will probably die. The shooter made his escape, and the officials are in pursuit.

Living with him is his wife of 24 years, Lissa Lunderbeck (age 47) born August 1853 in Canada to English-born parents, having emigrated in 1887 with 2 of the 8 children born to her still living. Two unmarried sons living at home were both born in Canada to Canadian-born parents and emigrating in 1887: Samuel Lunderbeck (age 18) born October 1881; and Sorell Lunderbeck (age 16) born October 1883.
