Hilma Swanson was born January 9, 1874, in Sweden and died January 8, 1995 in Mohall, Renville Co., ND, at age 80. She is the daughter of Peter Swanson of Sweden and Bertha Nelson of Sweden.

Edward and Hilma were married October 23, 1906, in Minot, Ward Co., ND.
