Buried in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs, Greene Co., OH. He is the son of Johann Gottlieb Gerhardt and Dorothea "Dora" (Whiele) Gebauer.

Ellen Mae "Ella" Holverstott was born September 1, 1869, in Miami Twp., Greene Co., OH, and died from Pneumonia, January 9, 1946, in the Village of Yellow Springs, Miami Twp., Greene Co., OH, at age 76. Buried in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs, Greene Co., OH. She is the daughter of Joshua M. Holverstott, and Sarah C. Wolf.

" Lilly" Garland. Lived in New Jersey in 1936. Married September 3, 1935, in Manhattan, New York City, NY, to Harriet Anne Estelle: Born December 28, 1910, in Toms River, Ocean Co., NJ; Died October 19, 2004, in New Jersey (age 93). Harriet's parents are Everett Estelle, and Caroline Attison. Parents are Harry Ben Shockey and Laura M. Bachtell. Evelyn Frances Gooby married August 2, 1933, in Sanbornville, NH, to John Walsh: Born Unknown; Died Unknown.
  2. William Russell Gerhardt: Born August 7, 1906, in the Village of Yellow Springs, Miami Twp., Greene Co., OH; Died January 21, 1967, at Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia, Greene Co., OH (age 60). Buried in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs, Greene Co., OH. Never married.
  3. Dorothy Mae Gerhardt: Born October 12, 1907, in the Village of Yellow Springs, Miami Twp., Greene Co., OH; Died February 23, 1936, at Victory Memorial Hospital, Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY (age 28). Buried in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs, Greene Co., OH. Never married. She was a stenographer. Lived in Dayton, OH, in 1931, and in Washington, DC, in 1932.
  4. Helen Marie Gerhardt: Born July 22, 1911, in the Village of Yellow Springs, Miami Twp., Greene Co., OH; Died February 11, 1979, at Virginia Mason Hospital, Seattle, King Co., WA (age 67). Buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Seattle, King Co., WA. Married April 1, 1934, in Indian Lake, Hamilton Co., NY, to Leroy David "Roy" Mason: Born June 5, 1903, in Kings Mills, Warren Co., OH; Died December 10, 1992, in Tacoma, Pierce Co., WA (age 89). Buried in Fir Lane Memorial Park, Spanaway, Pierce Co., WA. Divorced about 1955 in Unknown.

Yellow Springs

The funeral services for Miss Dorothy Gerhardt, were held at the Littleton Funeral Home Thursday afternoon, with burial in Glen Forest Cemetery. The deceased died at a hospital in New York Sunday afternoon. The remains arrived here Tuesday. The survivors are her mother, Mrs. Ella Gerhardt, two brothers, Floyd of New York, William at home and one sister, Mrs. Roy Mason of Nebraska. The friends and relatives from a distance who attended the funeral services were, Floyd Gerhardt, of New York; Mrs. Roy Mason of Nebraska; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bickett and daughter Helen of Watertown, Wisc.; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Oliver and Mr. Jack Wissell and son, Junior, of Cincinnati, and Mr. and Mrs. Mason of Mason.

OBITUARIES

William Gerhardt

YELLOW SPRINGS - Services for William Gerhardt, 60, of Comfort Inn, Xenia Ave., who died Saturday at 1:30 a. m. at Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia, will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. at Jackson, Lytle and Coffman Funeral Home here. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 and burial will be in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs. A native of Yellow Springs, he was the son of Charles and Ella Gerhardt. He had been an employe of Antioch College for many years. Survivors include a brother, Floyd Gerhardt of Beechwood, N. Y., and a sister, Mrs. Helen Mason of Everett, Wash. Rev. Charles Rader of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Springfield will be in charge of the services.

Floyd Albert Gerhardt died November 27, 1974, in Beachwood, Ocean Co., NJ, at age 70.

BEACHWOOD - Floyd A. Gerhardt, 70, of Forepeak Ave., died Wednesday. Mr. Gerhardt has lived here since 1934. He was a radio engineer for 40 years with AT&T Radio Ship to Shore Station. Surviving are his wife, H. Ann, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Mason, Seattle, Washington. The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of the arrangements.
