Buried in Wenatchee City Cemetery, Wenatchee, Chelan Co., WA. He is possibly the son of Robert Hamilton and Mary A. (Unknown), both born about 1791 in Pennsylvania. Buried in Wenatchee City Cemetery, Wenatchee, Chelan Co., WA.

Rebecca Jane Blake was born December 31, 1826, in Martinsburg, Bedford (Blair) Co., PA, and died January 4, 1908, in the City of Kimball, Brule Co., SD, at age 81 years, 4 days. Buried in Section A, Lot 2, Block 64, Grave 6, Kimball City Cemetery, City of Kimball, Brule Co., SD. She is the daughter of Burdine Blake Sr. of Washington Co., MD, and Mazey Ann Simpkins of Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD. There is a C. J. McKitrich marker at Lot 2, Block 64, with no burials.

Jacob Hamilton and Rebecca Jane Blake were married about 1849 in Pennsylvania.

Jacob Hamilton and Rebecca Jane (Blake) Hamilton had four children:

  1. William Byrdine Hamilton: Born March 11, 1857, in the Village of Orion, Richmond Twp., Richland Co., WI; Died Wednesday, March 17, 1943, at the Masonic Home, Zenith, King Co., WA (age 86). He committed suicide. Buried in Hillcrest Burial Park, Kent, King Co., WA. Never married.
  2. Laura M. Hamilton: Born April 4, 1864, in the Village of Orion, Orion Twp., Richland Co., WI; Died July 9, 1935, in Wenatchee Pct., Chelan Co., WA (age 71). Buried in Wenatchee City Cemetery, Wenatchee, Chelan Co., WA. Married September 13, 1890, at the Methodist Church, Richland Center, Richland Co., WI, to Clement Lemual McKittrick: Born August 13, 1864, in Muscoda, Grant Co., WI; Died February 9, 1945, in Humboldt Co., CA (age 80). Buried in Wenatchee City Cemetery, Wenatchee, Chelan Co., WA.
  3. Marion Hamilton: Born March 19, 1870, in the Village of Orion, Orion Twp., Richland Co., WI; Died September 22, 1882, in the Village of Orion, Orion Twp., Richland Co., WI (age 12 Ys 6Ms 3Ds). Buried in Indian Creek Cemetery (a.k.a. Orion Cemetery), Orion Twp., Richland Co., WI. The marker is broken off and leaning against a tree in row 9. Hard to read. It is very likely that John Hamilton is also buried there.
  4. John Hamilton: Born October 8, 1888, in Richland Co., WI; Died before 1895 in Richland Co., WI. It is very likely that John Hamilton is also buried in Indian Creek Cemetery (a.k.a. Orion Cemetery), Orion Twp., Richland Co., WI.

Laura M. Hamilton had married Clement Lemual McKittrick on September 13, 1890, at the Methodist Church, Richland Center, Richland Co., WI, and by 1910 they were living beyond the outskirts of Wenatchee, Wenatchee Pct., Chelan Co., WA, where Clement is a Fruit Farmer. Clement's parents lived on the next farm. Clement and Laura's three children were all born in Kimball, Brule Co., SD. The residence of Clement McKittrick in South Dakota is likely where Rebecca Jane (Blake) Hamilton died on January 4, 1908, at age 81.

Jacob Hamilton died July 23, 1912, in Wenatchee Pct., Chelan Co., WA, at age 87. Buried in Wenatchee City Cemetery, Wenatchee, Chelan Co., WA.

William Byrdine Hamilton died Wednesday, March 17, 1943, at the Masonic Home, Zenith, King Co., WA, at age 86. He committed suicide. Buried in Hillcrest Burial Park, Kent, King Co., WA.

Despondent over ill health, William B. Hamilton, 86 years old, a retired farmer, shot himself fatally with a shotgun in his room at the Masonic Home at Zenith yesterday, Coroner John P. Brill, Jr., reported.
