Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Palouse, Whitman Co., WA. He is the son of George Washington Armstrong of Sackets Harbor, Town of Hounsfield, Jefferson Co., NY, and Mary Ann Houghton of Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY.

Cora James was born March 14, 1880, in Texas Twp., De Witt Co., IL, and died September 18, 1958, at The Rest Haven, Colfax, Whitman Co., WA, at age 78. Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Palouse, Whitman Co., WA. She is the daughter of Stephen James of Clinton, De Witt Co., IL, and Charlotte A. "Lottie" Bennison of Pennsylvania, Mason Co., IL.
