George Washington Armstrong was born January 28, 1850, or April 28, 1850, in Sackets Harbor, Town of Hounsfield, Jefferson Co., NY, and died August 27, 1927, in Palouse, Whitman Co., WA, at age 77. Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Palouse, Whitman Co., WA. He is the son of Samuel Bolton Armstrong of Edwardsburgh, Canada West (Ontario), and Mary Feavel of New York.

Mary Ann Houghton was born 1852 in Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY, and died January 27,1890, in Oakesdale, Whitman Co., WA, at about age 48. She is the daughter of Robert Houghton of Liverpool England, and Elizabeth "Eliza" Wheeler of England.

Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Palouse, Whitman Co., WA.
  3. Maude "Maudy" Armstrong: Born January 11, 1879, in Rudolph, Wood Co., WI; Died October 18, 1912, in Colfax, Whitman Co., WA (age 33). Married October 13, 1895, in Colfax, Whitman Co., WA, to Joseph O. "Joe" Edwards: Born April, 1876, in Tennessee; Died December 12, 1936, in Everett, Snohomish Co., WA (age 60). He is the son of John "Jack" Edwards and Sarah J. Wilson. He is an Engineer. Both are living in Oakesdale, Whitman Co., WA. Joseph then married about 1919 to Anna Feidler/Fiedler: Born December 28, 1886, in Germany; Died September 22, 1967, in Everett, Snohomish Co., WA (age 80).
  4. Pansy Armstrong: Born March 2, 1888, in Oakesdale, Whitman Co., Washington Territory; Died October 12, 1889, in Oakesdale, Whitman Co., Washington Territory (age 1).
