A pretty home wedding was that of Miss Olga Marie Larson, daughter of Adolph Larson, and Karl Ludwig Swenson of Rockford, Ill., which was solemnized at the home of the family, 228 east McLeod avenue, at five o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Many guests assembled to witness the ceremony, which was performed by yhe Rev. Frank Gustafson. The home was made attractive with white and pink carnations, silmax and ferns. Miss Sigrid Netterblad was the maid of honor, the bridesmaids being Miss Lillie Leksell and Miss Sadie Peterson. John Olson of Rockford, was best man, and Emil Swanson and Carl Nordgren groomsmen. The wedding march was played by Miss Stella Ladin. Among the gifts, which were numerous and costly, was a draft for one thousand dollars from the bride's father. An elaborate wedding dinner was served at six o'clock at Scandinavian hall. For 30 years he was a partner in the accounting firm of Swenson and Swenson, which for the last five years has been known as Swenson and Raby. Mr. Swenson was the first honorary director of the Seventh Street Business and Professional Men's association. He was a former treasurer of Emmanuel Lutheran church and a member of the church's Pioneer society and Brotherhood. Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Peterson and Mrs. E. G. Lancaster, both of Rockford; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; four sisters, including Mrs. Oscar S. Peterson, Polo, and Mrs. John Mosbell, Dixon; and a brother, Arthur Swenson, Rockford.
