LaVon Mae Miller, called Vonnie when she was little. Her sister, Maxine, couldn't say Vonnie, came out Bonnie. It stuck. Daughter of Arthur and Edith Hansen. Married Wm S. Miller on April 3, 1947, Ogden, UT. She studied to be a nurse. One of her last jobs was that of head nurse at a Rest Home in Redwood City. About 1960, a pressure cooker blew up into her face while living in Redwood City. She never fully recovered from the experience. She was so excited when in 1962,they purchased their home in Santa Clara, no more moving around. She enjoyed the swimming pool, always kept it at super warm! Everyone that knew her, knew her as Bonnie and that as a great friend. She loved animals from birds and fish to monkeys and everything in between. She loved having people around and was very proud of her girls Robin and Vickie. Life long Girl Scout.
