Ruthann Eisfeldt

Ruthann Eisfeldt went peacefully to be with the Lord on a beautiful fall day, November 5, 2005. Originally from Watertown, WI, Ruthann lived in Tucson the last 15 years. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Anita and Floyd Stai, Sr. Survived by her two daughters, Pam Hensler, of Wauwatosa, WI and Sarah (David) Bernard, nee Eisfeldt, of Tucson, AZ; two sons, David (Cathy) Hensler, of Watertown, WI and Todd (Trina) Eisfeldt, of Neilsville, WI; nine grandchildren whom she loved with all of her heart; four brothers, Jim (Diane) Stai; Floyd (Peggy) Stai, Jr, Tom (Susan) Stai, Bob Stai and half-sister, Judy Lynch, all of Watertown, WI. Also survived by many other loving relatives. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and her family, at family gatherings and holidays, and loved her cats. She had the biggest, most wonderful heart of all and will be missed by family and friends. Memorial service 400 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. The family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Watertown Humane Society, 418 Water Tower Ct., Watertown, WI, 53094.

Roy C. Eisfeldt

Roy C. Eisfeldt Jr., Watertown, passed away Friday morning, October 22, 2021, at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Roy went home to Heaven at the age of 78. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. Peter Wells officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial, with military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post 189, will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Lakeside Lutheran High School, or the charity of one's choice. Roy Charles Eisfeldt Jr. was born at home in Watertown, WI on September 26, 1943, son of Roy Sr. and Ruby (née Ramey) Eisfeldt. He was a lifetime resident of Watertown. Roy enlisted in the Army in 1963. He served his time for 27 years in the United States Army, Army Reserves and National Guard. During that time, he served in the Vietnam War. On May 15, 1987, Roy married Mary Jacobs. They were blessed with 34 years of marriage. Roy was a dedicated UPS driver for over 36 years. He retired in 2001 with 20 years of safe driving. Roy was a very selfless person. He was always there to help his family when needed. Roy put everyone's needs before his own and loved with his whole heart. After retirement Roy loved watching old movies, keeping up with worldly news, and coming up with ridiculous jokes. Roy is survived by his wife, Mary Eisfeldt; son, Todd Eisfeldt and his children, Hallie Elijah and Willow; daughter, Sarah (Dave) Bernard and their children, Hunter and Aleta; Tyler Eisfeldt and his son, Otto; step-son, Eric Henschler; step-daughter, Heidi (Tim) Buchta and their children, Carter, Eli, Avery, Logan, and Morgan; step-daughter, Pam Hensler and her children, Jason Garity and Katelyn (Cody) Merk; step-son, Dave (Cathy) Hensler and their children, Kelsey and Mitchell; brother, Philip (Florence) Eisfeldt; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Barb Kaliebe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark Jacobs and Pam Harvey/Jacobs; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Lois L. Hensler, 82, of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown. Funeral services will held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Revs. Anthony Schultz and Mark Gartner officiating. Entombment will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may gather at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Lois Leona Hensler was born on July 26, 1932 in Pipersville, the daughter of George and Leona Kilts (nee Gaugert). On June 5, 1982, she married Gordon Hensler at the Watertown Moravian Church. She was employed at Brandt Manufacturing Company for 45 years as a supervisor. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Watertown and the Watertown Boat Club. Lois loved water skiing, boating and snowmobiling. She enjoyed cooking and loved feeding people. Her true joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Lois is survived by her husband Gordon of Watertown; children, Pamela Hensler of Wauwatosa; David (Cathy) Hensler of Watertown, as well as grandchildren, Jason Garity, Katelyn Garity, Kelsey Hensler and Mitchell Hensler. She is further survived by special niece and nephews; Dan, Harold, David, Helen and Brian as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father George; mother, Leona; stepfather, Louis Marg; brother, Harvey; stepsisters: Isabelle and Norma as well as other siblings as children. Gordon E. Hensler, 88, of Watertown, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Oak Hill Terrace in Waukesha. Gordon Eugene Hensler was born May 1, 1934, son of Earl and Burniss (nee Soldner) Hensler. Gordon was employed at Brandt for 41 years in the shipping and receiving department. He also raised livestock and grew crops on his farm on West Rd. Gordon married the former Lois Kilts on June 5, 1982, at Watertown Moravian Church. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and Watertown Outboarders boat club. Working his farm kept him busy most days. In his spare time, Gordon enjoyed snowmobiling, waterskiing, and boating. Lois and Gordon took several trips to Las Vegas and even ventured to Germany. In winter, they sometimes resided in Florida. Most of all, Gordon enjoyed spending time with his family. Gordon is survived by his children, Pamela Hensler of Waukesha, and David (Cathy) Hensler of Watertown; grandchildren, Jason (Kat Czys) Garity, Katelyn (Cody) Merk, Kelsey Hensler, and Mitchell (fiance Kelsey) Hensler; sisters, Lois (Stan) Kassube, and Shirley Sukow; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Gordon is preceded in death by his wife, Lois on May 30, 2015; his parents; sisters, Marvel Lenius, Rose Kuester, and Laurie Fredrick; and nephew, Gary Lenius.

Jane M. Becker, age 62, N5646 Maders Circle, Shawano, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2001, at home. She was born April 19, 1939, in Watertown, the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Kehr) Sterwald. She was an assembler and tester for Brandt, Inc. in Watertown for 20 years, retiring in 1994. Jane married John Becker on April 29,1961 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Watertown. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. She was a former member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Watertown. Jane dearly loved her grandchildren, enjoyed doing crafts and living on the lake in Shawano. Survivors include: her husband, John "Jack" Becker of Shawano; one son, Jeffery (Laura) Becker of Coon Rapids, Minn.; one daughter, Debra (Randy) Winkleman of Madison; four grandchildren; two sisters, her twin Jean (Tony) Kohn of Watertown, Mary (Don) Schauer of Watertown; two brothers, Tom (Sally) Sterwald of Oconomowoc, Dick (Carol) Sterwald of New Berlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Marr officiating. John F. "Jack" Becker

July 28, 1935 - February 1, 2023

Shawano, WI - John F. "Jack" Becker, 87 of Shawano, formerly of Watertown, passed away on February 1, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. John Fredrick Becker was born in Watertown on July 28, 1935, to Fredrick and Elizabeth (Gritzner) Becker. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1955. On April 26, 1961, he married Jane M. Sterwald in Watertown. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2001. Jack served in the US Army National Guard. He was a loyal armchair coach and fan of the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Brewers. Jack enjoyed golfing, playing pool, hunting, and was an avid outdoorsman. He belonged to the Watertown Izaak Walton Club and the American Legion of Shawano, WI. Jack is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. After his retirement of 41 years at Brant Inc., Jack and Jane moved from Watertown to Shawano Lake where they enjoyed going out on their pontoon and fishing. Mostly they loved sharing their home with their visiting children, grandchildren, and extended family. Survivors include his daughter, Deb (Mike Chaudoir) Winkelman of Appleton, and her daughter Traci and Ross Gundlach of Madison, WI; his son Jeff and Laura Becker of Coon Rapids, MN and his children Kelly and Ben Vanskike of Andover, MN, Aaron and Danica Beckerof Albany Park, IL, and Jeremy and Kayla Becker of Maple Grove, MN; two great-granddaughters, Avery and Norah Vanskike; his very special friend, Ronda Nolen of Shawano, and her family; and other nieces, nephews, relatives, and many special friends. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Jane; his parents; and his sister, Better Jean Wilkes. Private services will be held for the immediate family in Watertown WI at a later date. The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a Conservation organization of your choice. Stevenson, Sandra Lee "Stevie". Born April 6, 1941, in Marinette, Marinette Co., WI. Died in January, 2003 (age 61). Her parents are: Daniel Lenwood Stevenson (died in 1990), and Madlyn (Kunze) (Greening) Stevenson (died in 1966). Madlyn divorced Daniel on December 15, 1953, in Jefferson Co., WI. She was granted $50 monthly child support for their 12-year-old daughter, Sandra. She claimed Daniel took solitary trips and showed no love and affection to her. Though married 12 years, she testified that her husband had squandered all family savings making it necessary for her to be employed. Madlyn then married Arthur Hafenstein. Sandra Lee "Stevie" Stevenson was in the 1959 Graduation Class of Johnson Creek High School, Johnson Creek, Jefferson Co., WI.

Betty L. Nolde

Betty L. Nolde, 83, of Marinette, passed away Monday evening, March 19, 2012, at Bay Area Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1928, in Washburn, Wis. to William and Myrtle (Carpenter) Jorgensen. Betty moved to Menominee with her family in 1935 and attended Menominee schools. She married Daniel Stevenson and together they resided in Milwaukee and Sussex, Wis. for a number of years. He preceded her in death in 1990. In May of 1999, Betty married Joseph J. Nolde. They resided in the Town of Wagner and later moved to Marinette. Betty enjoyed card playing, especially pinochle, played cribbage and loved country music and dancing. She will also be remembered for her yodeling and working jigsaw puzzles. Joseph preceded her in death in October of 2010. She was a member of SS Joseph and Edward Parish in Porterfield. Betty is survived by two daughters: Tammy (Josh) Pennock of Parchment, Mich. and Colleen Stevenson (Ralph Vannaman, Jr.) of Menominee; two grandchildren: Jestin Puls and Danielle (Lee) May; two great-grandchildren: Alexis Puls and Anden Kuhnlein; one sister, Vera Belle Roeder of Peshtigo; eight step-children: Joanne Nolde, Judith Alcorn, Dennis Nolde, Jacqueline Christenson, Dean Nolde, Janine Nolde, Douglas Nolde and Duane Nolde; 17 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands; a step-daughter, Sandra; three brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home, Marinette, after 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Sister Helen Plum, SSND, officiating. Burial will be in St. Edward Cemetery in the Town of Wagner.
