Lois J. Radloff, Gary Corcoran Wed In Clyman

GARY DONALD Corcoran, 200 Jackson St., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Munson, Deerfield, claimed Miss Lois Jean Radloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Radloff, Juneau, as his bride at 3:30 p.m. today. The ceremony was performed in Zion Lutheran Church in Clyman by the Rev. Wilfred F. Frick. Fashioned of Swiss embroidered ace, the bride's gown had a Sabrina neckline, long sleeves and a full skirt accented by a border of scalloped lace. a pearl-trimmed crown held her elbow-length veil and she carried a bouquet of red and white roses and carnations. MISS CAROL RADLOFF, as her sister's maid of honor, wore an avocado green frock that paired a velvet top with a silk organza skirt. He matching clip-on headdress had a veil and she carried a crescent bouquet of green and white chrysanthemums. An identical costume was chosen for Miss Judy Sievila, the bridesmaid. Roslyn Radloff, the bride's sister, was miniature bride. James Kingsley was best man and James Treadwell was groomsman. David Radloff, the  bride's cousin, and Samuel Hurd ushered. The wedding was celebrated with a dinner in the Zion Lutheran School Hall and a reception in the Radloff home. The Corcorans will be at home at 1710 Niemann Pl., when they return from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls. The bride was graduated from the Business Institute of Milwaukee this year.

Survivors include a son, Gary Allen Corcoran of Peru, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Ann Whiles of Kansas City, Kansas, Janet Lynn Corcoran of McFarland; his mother, Mrs. Carol (Allen) Notstad of Cottage Grove; three brothers, Randy Lee Munson of Madison, Carl Mark (Mary) Munson of Cottage Grove, John Roger (Anneve) Munson of Cottage Grove; a sister, Georgia Jean Corcoran of Louisville, Kentucky; an uncle, Reg V. (Joanne) Leffler of Thousand Oaks, California; and many cousns. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Agnes M. Leffler. Funeral services will be held at JOYCE FUNERAL HOME, 540 W. Washington Ave., at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, with The Reverend Douglas Duscack officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Gerald "Jerry" R. Sell

Gerald "Jerry" R. Sell, 80, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Rev. Dustin Yahnke officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Gerald Roy Sell was born on May 22, 1938, to Roy and Catherine "Kady" (nee Ruff) Sell in Watertown. On May 14, 1960, he married Eileen Raether at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Jerry retired from Lindberg Hevi-Duty in Watertown after over 30 years of employment. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown and had served as the church treasurer. Jerry was the pitcher of his Watertown High School baseball team and led his team to the state championship. He played baseball for many years in Lebanon and for the Watertown Cardinals. Jerry was also on various softball teams throughout the years. He was a stockholder and fan of the Green Bay Packers and also enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs. Jerry bowled in the Watertown City League for many years and also served as treasurer. He coached Trinity boys basketball for three years and assisted in the WLA girls traveling basketball team. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Sell of Watertown; children Annette (Pete) Henning of Tomball, Texas, Tony Sell of Watertown and Sue (Mike) Floyd of Oshkosh; grandchildren Jennifer (Lance) GiGout, Jacob Sell, Joseph Sell, Brooke Kuehl, Katelyn (Bobby Kachel) Kuehl, Alex (friend Kiarra) Kuehl; one great-grandson, Kase GiGout; other relatives and friends. His family was the biggest love of his life. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Joshua Henning; and an uncle, Robert Sell. Ramona M. Bartz (nee Reichertz), 72, entered eternal spiritual happiness Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was honored along her way, and during her brief hospital stay, by a parade of friends and family. They grew to understand Mona's desire to please each of them by harming none of them. In recent years Mona's physical pain could be quite burdensome. In spite of that pain, Mona's generosity in caring for the happiness of others remained the path to her own happiness. Ramona was a licensed day care provider since 1985. She was the beloved wife of Russ Bartz; loving mother of Wayne (Heidi) and Ed Bartz; proud grandma of Elyse, Cullen and Gavin Bartz; and dear sister of Cheryl Gruss, Shirley (Robert) Block, William (Lynn) Reichertz, the late Roger Reichertz, the late Grace Reichertz and the late Florence Schaefer. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Thursday, July 25, at the Harder Funeral Home, 18700 W. Funeral services for David "Jim" Yager, 64, of Watertown, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Congregational United Church of Christ with the Rev. Steven P. Savides officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call to pay their respects at Pederson Funeral Home tonight from 5 to 8 o'clock and at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. He was born April 19, 1935, in West Allis, the son of Gerald and Viola (Miller) Yager. He married Carol Rex on Nov. 10, 1990, in Watertown. He was employed by B & P Trucking in Milwaukee for 17 years and Archie Monument in Watertown, retiring in 1998. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea. He was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; six children, Brian of Milwaukee, Ken (Kathy) of Watertown, Richard (Darlene) of Oconomowoc, Tom of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Candy (Tim) King of Watertown and Bill of Watertown; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Dick (Marie) of Watertown and Larry (Mary) of Lake Mills; two sisters, Shirley (Richard) Graham of Muskego and Ruth Ann (Bob) Roth of New Berlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Richart, John A. Route 6, Richart Road, Watertown, Wis. John is a salesman for Bake-Rite Company and his wife, the former Charlotte M. Kitsembel, is a secretary at the courthouse in Jefferson. They are the parents of two children: Charlene, 14; James, 9. They built a new house on 20 acres of land with a beautiful view. John is the past president of the Watertown Snowmobile Club and is presently an officer in the Watertown Outboarders. Their family is very active in both the sport of snowmobiling and boating. As a family they trail bike in the summer time. Before the new home was built, in the 20' Winnebago motor home they traveled through the U.S. as well as weekends camping up North.

Watertown, WI - JOHN ALLEN RICHART, age 81 passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at his home in Watertown. John was born in Watertown to Raymond and Gertrude (Hanke) Richart on October 20, 1941. He attended school in Grelton and graduated from Watertown High School. He married Charlotte Kitsembel in 1963 and had two children, Charlene and James (Jamie) Richart. His second marriage was in 1992 to Ruth Holat. He worked as fuel technician at Wisconsin Aviation for 16 years retiring in 2010. John served in the Army National Guard 32nd Division in Watertown from 1961 to 1967. He enjoyed flying, boating, hunting and fishing. John is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter Charlene Beerbohm of Watertown and son Jamie Richart of Sullivan; grandchildren Brandon Beerbohm, Catherine Richart, Jeremiah Richart, Zechariah Richart and Joseph Richart; siblings Audrey Pagel, Rae Ann Danner, Paulette Timm, Joseph Richart, James Richart and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Richard Richart and Alice Richart. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. John's Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek. On Wednesday February 15, 2023, Harriet I. Brackett, beloved sister, wife, aunt, mother, & grandmother went to be with our Risen Savior. She was born to Edgar & Frances Rieck in Watertown, WI. Harriet graduated from Wartburg College, attended nursing school in Milwaukee and became a registered nurse. She met and married the love of her life William "Bill" Brackett. Bill & Harriet were married 56 years until his passing in 2019. Harriet is survived by: sister Deloris (Rieck) Hubbard, daughters Beth Brackett, Virginia (Brackett) Redmann & son-in-law Matthew Redmann, Robin (Brackett) Peterson & son-in-law David Peterson, grandchildren Joshua Redmann & Kayla (Kilps) Redmann, Rachel Redmann & Tressa Redmann, and many cousins, nieces & nephews, and wonderful friends both old & new. Harriet was a wonderful, warm person who always had a smile and a hug for you. She had a gift for hospitality and welcoming friends and family to her home. She loved Jesus and was assured of her salvation. She loved boating, walks on the beach, finding something beautiful every day, and was a voracious reader. She made heirloom quality needlepoint & crocheted items, and she loved to shout out Jeopardy answers before you could. She believed that it was important to say "I love you" to someone every day and hoped that you will do the same. Friends and family are invited together to celebrate the life of Harriet on Tuesday March 7 2023 at Blessed Savior Lutheran Church in New Berlin. Visitation 11-12 with service to follow. Eugene Richard Galindo

GALINDO, Eugene Richard Born May 27, 1939 in Bell, California; died Aug. 15, 2006. He is remembered by his family, friends and business associates. He is survived by his wife Estelle, daughter Lisa Olmore of San Diego, son Jeff Galindo of Sacramento, mother Hope Niebla of La Canada-Flintridge, brother Mike Galindo of Santa Barbara, sister Louise Johnson of Sylmar, sister Cecilia Galindo-Stipes of Felton, and five grandchildren: Kaely, Jessica, Joey Olmore, Luke and Ryan Galindo. For 47 years he was a well respected business owner of Nu-Hope Laboratories Inc., a manufacturer of ostomy appliances. Eugene took over Edmund Galindo's silk screen printing business in 1959 following his fathers' death to nephritis. Gene simultaneously worked as a commercial printer and managed the newly started ostomy product manufacturing and distributing business: Nu-Hope Laboratories Inc. Gene was a lover of projects and hard work. He always had several projects going at the same time. He was an accomplished guitarist and banjo player. He worked with the Boy Scouts as an assistant Scout Master with Troops 501 and 319; was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was an organizer in the National Ostomy Association as well as organized fun-runs and lectured at conventions. Gene Galindo's business experience and innovative products set him apart from his competitors as he pioneered his way to a new understanding of ostomy care and management. His dedication and devotion to his profession earned him numerous awards and recognition from his peers and colleagues. He brought new hope to countless numbers of ostomy patients here in the United States and around the world. Gene died peacefully in his country ranch home in Lake View Terrace after a 12 year struggle with prostate cancer. Gene Galindo has left a legacy of goodwill towards his fellow "man" and he will be greatly missed by all whose lives he has touched. Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Highway, Newhall, CA 91321; Viewing 10:30 a.m. and service 12:00 noon. Joel R. Rosenow

Watertown, WI - Retired, decorated Senior Master Sergeant Joel Robert Rosenow entered into eternal life on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 79, with his loving wife, Barbara Jean, by his side. SMSGT Rosenow was born on June 21, 1941 in Long Prairie, Minnesota - the son of Vernon and Rosetta (Draeger) Rosenow. He married the love of his life, Barbara Haberman, on March 11, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the couple went on to enjoy 32 incredibly blessed years together. SMSGT Rosenow enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on October 9, 1959 and faithfully served God and his country until June 30, 1980. After his retirement, he worked at US Chemical in Watertown and then transferred to Beaver Chemical Company in Stockton, California. He was an avid sportsman and loved all that the land had to offer. He was an active and committed member of the Watertown Elks Lodge, Ducks Unlimited, Chickens Unlimited and many other service organizations. He took pride in his time mentoring local youth though the Wisconsin DNR Hunter Safety Program. He and Barbara were active members of the community and were always generous in the donation of their time and talents. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends - each of whom will always hold their own special place in his heart and in the hearts of his family. He will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him for his fun-loving and genuine nature. Survivors include:  his wife - Barbara; children - David, JoAnn (Terry) Schowalter, Michael, Susan (Daniel) Schmitt and Jaime (William) Caudle; 14 grandchildren - Brandon, David Jr., Brooke (Tom), Bryce (Katie), Karissa, Kaylin, Riley, Colton, Tera (Mike), Courtney (Joel), Carley (Riley), Austin, Ally and Olivia; 6 great grandchildren - Zoe, Ella, Lucy, Ivey, Reed and Kali; 3 brothers - James (Susan), Douglas (Judy) and Curtis (Jean); sister - Vernette (John) Wuestenburg. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends that he held dear to his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents and a host of other loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home - 500 Welsh Road in Watertown, Wisconsin, with the Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The family is asking that those attending the visitation wear a face covering and keep six feet of physical distance between themselves and other non-household members. Limited seating will be available at the service - immediate family and closest friends will take priority seating. All others are invited to rejoin the family following the service for a burial with full military honors at Oak Hill Cemetery - 1540 E. Main Street in Watertown, Wisconsin. Virginia D. Podolske

Virginia D. Podolske, 73 of Watertown, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at her home. Virginia was born on July 24, 1943 in Watertown, WI the daughter of Edward and Ethel (Kopp) Podolske. She is a 1961 graduate of Watertown High School and worked at Karma Corp. and Piggly Wiggly, both of Watertown, for a number of years. Virginia was an artist. She was a talented painter and enjoyed drawing. She often spent time working puzzles and bowling. She loved  to cook and was a better baker! She was a quiet person with a sweet demeanor and her children loved her dearly. She was a patient woman who was easy to get along with. She had a good heart, cherished time with family, and will be deeply missed. Virginia is survived by: her Children David Rosenow, Michael (Kim Ignarski) Rosenow, Jamie (William Caudle) Gwidt; Grandchildren Brandon, David Jr., Jessica, Karissa, Kaylin, Riley, Colton, Austin, Ally, and Olivia; Great-Granddaughter Kali; Brother Michael Podolske. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Brother Tom, Sisters Jeananne in infancy, and Kathleen in early childhood. Watertown, WI - Thomas J. Penza, 81, of Watertown, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center. Thomas Joseph Penza was born August 31, 1940, in Kenosha, son of Arnold and Mildred (nee Thomas) Penza. Thomas married the former Carol Ruesch on November 10, 1962, at St. Henry Catholic Church. He worked as a claim's auditor for Wisconsin Health Fund. In retirement, they moved to Surprise, AZ for 16 years and met many great friends there. Tom is survived by his wife Carol; sons, Andrew (Victoria), Thomas "Fred", Joseph, and John (Amy) Penza; grandchildren, Simone (Jenna), Christopher (April), Xavier, Dimitri, and Edison Penza; great-grandchildren, Elliot and Ian Penza; siblings, Joan (Richard) Hensgen, James (Linda), Mary (Harold) Davitz, Diane (Alan) Horgan, and Frank (Cheri); as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Don, John, George, and Dennis Penza. A prayer service will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday, October 9 followed by a Celebration of Life, food and fellowship until 3 pm at Watertown Moose Lodge. Richard H. Strege

June 12,1939 - January 23, 2022

Jefferson, WI - Richard Henry Strege, 82, of Jefferson, passed away on January 23, 2022 at Alden Estates in Jefferson. Richard had been a resident of Phoenix, AZ for the past 30 years and moved back to WI in May of 2021. He lived at Alden Estates in Jefferson from May 2021 until his passing. Richard was born on June 12, 1939 in Watertown. On July 17, 1964 he married Rebecca Rupnow. She preceded him in death on July 7, 1988. On November 10, 1989 he married Ruth Kausch. He served on the Watertown School Board and was on the Board for the Watertown Humane Society as he always had a great love for his dogs. He served in the 11th Air Assault Division during the Vietnam War. He was an Army Specialist Machine Gunner in Company C of division 187th infantry 30 Battalion. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and golfing. He especially liked playing Sheepshead, Cribbage, and Parcheesi. He volunteered at Watertown Hospital and worked and retired from Waukesha Engine & Dresser, LLC. He is survived by his wife Ruth Strege; children: Melanie (Jay) Froemming and Mary (Dan) Butler; grandchildren: Ashley (Andrew) Crandall, Taylor (Lexxi) Froemming, Brandon (Molly) Butler, Cody (Amanda) Butler; great-grandchildren: Alivia, Vylette, Easton, Katalina, Leila; brother, John (Val) Strege of West Virginia; sisters-in-law, Diane Strege, Sandy Strege, and Bonnie Justmann, all of Watertown; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: David Lee Strege, Lester Dean Strege, Michael Ray Strege, and Jim Strege. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. James Backus of St. Mark's Lutheran Church officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial with military honors will be held at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia at a later date. Memorials would be appreciated to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown.
