Martha Ann Hockaday was born February 14, 1814, in Madison Co., KY, and died July 17, 1837, in Greenup Co., KY, at age 23. She is the daughter of John H. Hockaday of New Kent Co., VA, and Margaret Doniphan of Kentucky.
