A HAPPY MARRIAGE.

Popular Young People of Spring Hill Unite Hearts and Hands.

At the residence of the groom's brother, Judge Frank M. Newell at Spring Hill, Wyo., Nov. 21, 1899 at 8:30 p.m., Miss Clara Searl was united in marriage to Emmett M. Newell both of Spring Hill, Wyo. The Rev. Taylor of Douglas, Wyo., officiated. This most happy event was witnessed by about one hundred and fifty people, friends and relatives, in the parlors of the palatial residence of Judge Newell which were tastefully decorated with evergreens and cut flowers for this most happy event and two young souls were made happy and their hearts to beat as one. The bride a charming petite blonde blonde of the belles of Spring Hill and a niece of Mrs. Judge Newell was becomingly arrayed in a modest suit of brown cashmere with chatelain at girdle and roses at throat with all a very pretty picture and much to admire. The groom, Mr. Emmett M. Newell, a young and energetic cattle raiser, was dressed in the regulation Prince Albert. This young couple were the recipients of numerous and costly wedding present a few of which we give below with the names of the donors.

Leigh Larson note: The long list shown is not typed here.

At 10:30 the guests sat down to a most sumptuous wedding supper, the table being laden with all the good things that tickle the palate and maketh the heart glad. After supper dancing was indulged in by those who were so inclined until the wee small hours of morn when the reddening light in the far east warned one and all it was time to hie themselves away. The gathering broke up after all had enjoyed themselves to their hearts content, all agreeing that the affair was a most happy event and wishing the young couple smooth sailing and happiness through life's voyage.
