A Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Born May 28, 1922, in Chicago, he died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at Holy Family Hospital. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles. Robert was a machinist. He was a charter member of Amvets Norwood Zurek Memorial Post @#36, Chicago, and was a World War II Army veteran. He was the husband of 49 years to Audrey (nee Jacobsen); father of Robert J. (Mary) Ward, James Ward, Richard Ward and Mary Ann (James) Lazarski; grandfather of John, Elizabeth, Olivia and Matthew C.
