Mrs. Mette Norlin, Route 1, Amherst, Wis. Age 78, died Sunday, October 9, at 6:15 p.m. at her home, after a lingering illness. She was born Oct. 19, 1881 in the town of Farmington, Waupaca County. Survivors are her husband William, a brother, Edward Hansen, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Stedman, both of Amherst. Funeral services will be from the Trinity Lutheran Church, Waupaca, Wednesday, October 12, at 1:30 p.m. with burial in Lakeside cemetery, Waupaca. Rev. A. S. Peterson will officiate. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca, after 3 p.m. Tuesday and at the church after 12:30 Wednesday.

Mrs. William Norlin
Funeral services for Mrs. William Norlin of the Town of Lanark will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waupaca. Mrs. Norlin died at her home Sunday evening at 6:15, following an illness of a number of months. Born in the Town of Farmington (Waupaca County) on Oct. 9, 1881, she was the former Mette E. Hansen, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hansen. Her marriage to Mr. Norlin took place in Waupaca on July 23, 1916, and the couple moved to their present farm in Lanark many years ago. Mrs.. Norlin's survivors include her husband; a brother, Edward Hansen, Amherst, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Stedman, Lanark. her husband William, a brother, Edward Hansen, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Stedman, both of Amherst. The Rev. A. S. Peterson will officiate at the funeral services, and burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery at Waupaca. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca this evening and Wednesday morning, and at the church after 12:30 p.m. tomorrow.

William A. Norlin
WAUPACA - William A. Norlin, 84, a resident of Bethany Home, died Monday at Riverside Community Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1891, in the Town of Farmington. He was married to Mette Hansen July 23, 1916, in Waupaca, who preceded him in death Oct. 9, 1960. Mr. Norlin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He is survived by one brother, Clarence of Wild Rose, and three sisters, Mrs. Esther Graff of Round Lake, Ill., Mrs. Earl (Sylvia) Roche of McHenry, Ill., and Mrs. Freeda Roche of Neshkoro. Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, the Rev. Peter Kirkegaard officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Waupaca. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
