William Abbey "Will" Shidell was born February 22, 1869, in Oakfield Twp., Fond du Lac Co., WI, and died June 14, 1954, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI, at age 85. Buried in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI. He is the son of Adam William Scheidel of the Village of Croettwiller, Crœttwiller, Bas-Rhin, Grand Est, Alsace, France, and Lucinda Matilda Abbey of Hope Twp., Durham Co., Ontario, Canada.

Emma Dora Marie Heinrichs was born December 15, 1880, in Watertown, Jefferson Co., WI, and died March 7, 1957, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI, at age 76. Buried in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI. She is the daughter of Philip Heinrichs of Veldenz, Rhineland, Prussia, and Caralina W. Ratsch of Prussia, Warthebuch (Dorf), Germany. Philip arrived 1853 at the Port of New York, and was naturalized February 6, 1888, in Jefferson Co., WI. Philip and Caroline are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown, Jefferson Co., WI.

Married March 24, 1928, in Marengo, McHenry Co., IL, to Elmer Louis Holzhaeuser: Born April 9, 1902, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI; Died May 18, 1973, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI (age 71).
  3. Elmer Harvey Shidell: Born July 14, 1907, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI; Died January 31, 1963, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI (age 55). Buried in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI. Never married.

Living with him is his wife of 34 years, Karolina Heinrichs (age 55) born July 1844 in Germany to German-born parents and emigrating in 1852 with four of her six children still living. Also living there are their unmarried children, all born in Wisconsin to German-born parents: Theodore Heinrichs (age 32) born April 1868 who is a farm laborer; Emma Heinrichs (age 19) born December 1880 who is a dressmaker; Hattie Heinrichs (age 18) born April 1882 who is a dressmaker; and Rudolph Heinrichs (age 16) born May 1884 who is a farm laborer.

Wm. Shidell of this village and Miss Emma Henrichs were married Tuesday of last week at the bride's home, 3036 Locust street, Milwaukee. Miss Heinrichs is well and favorably known here, having lived here several years prior to their removal to Milwaukee, and during her stay here has made many friends who are glad to welcome her back. It will be remembered that for a tile Miss Heinrichs held the position of clerk in the local postoffice. Mr. Shidell is one of our prosperous young farmers and has lived here practically all his life. They have the well wishes of all who know them.

Heinrichs - News was received here of the death at Milwaukee Saturday of Philip Heinrichs, a former resident of this city, aged 60 years. Decedent was for many years connected with the Philip Heinrichs Manufacturing company which did business in First street, and later removed to , this state, where he was engaged in the lumber business. He removed to Milwaukee about two years ago. He is survived by his widow, two sons and two daughters. The remains were brought here for interment Tuesday at 12:38 over the Milwaukee road and interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. Heinrichs was a member of Sons of Herman lodge of this city.

Percy Heinrich

WATERTOWN - Percy C. Heinrich, 86, died Sunday (Apr. 9, 1972) in a nursing home after a brief illness. He was a former employe of the Midstate Shoe Co. and the Bickett Rubber Co. He married the former Mabel Rinehart June 7, 1913. She died in 1965. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dayton Howard and Mrs. Thomas Stoppenbach, both of Watertown; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hafemeister Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and until time of services Wednesday.
