DEATH ENDS LONG ILLNESS OF MRS. A. M. KEATING
Following an illness of 18 months, Mrs. Alice Maude Keating, 53 years old, a resident of Sioux City for the past 25 years, died at her home, Tuesday. Mrs. Keating was born in Flint, Mich., Oct. 7, 1871, and lived there several years. She was a member of the Degree of Honor lodge and one of the Ladies auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Surviving are a son, J. C. Keating, and a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Anderson, both of Sioux City. Funeral services will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic church, Thursday morning, at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in Graceland park cemetery. Ginn's undertaking establishment is in charge of arrangements.

Patrick Francis Keating Succumbs to Long Illness
Patrick Francis Keating, 71 years old, died Thursday afternoon in his home at 1038 Twenty-seventh street following an illness of several months. He had been a resident of Sioux City the last 45 years. Mr. Keating was born in Bristol, Pa., June 14, 1859. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include: The widow, Mrs. Martha Keating; three sons, William, Vincent and Merritt Keating, all of Sioux City; two daughters, Margaret Keating of Sioux City and Mrs. R. G. Frost, of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Marting Keating, of San Francisco, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Conway of Fort Lee, N. J. The body is at Larkin's funeral home. The family requests that no flowers be sent.

Alice Maude Weisenburger, 72, of Fairfax and Fluvanna County, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17 at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 1937 Davis Highway, Mineral. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William D. Weisenburger Sr.; two sons, William David Weisenburger Jr. and his wife, Teresa Ann, and Randall John Weisenburger and his wife, Catherine Diane; four grandchildren, Breanne Halsey, William David Weisenburger III, Nicole Elle Weisenburger and Randall John Weisenburger II; her sister-in-law, Jeanie Keating; her nieces, Teri Elke, Kim Keating and Holly Tritz; a nephew, Burl Keating; and a number of friends. Mrs. Weisenburger was born in Wilmer, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Jerry and Martha Keating. She was also preceded in death by her younger brother, Jerry Clarence Keating. She was raised in Sioux City, Iowa were she met her husband. She had several successful careers as a secretary, real estate agent, broker and most recently an officer in DECOTEC Inc. Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Emma Messenger Mrs. Emma Messenger was born Oct. 31, 1868, in Leonard, Mich. She was a member of the Methodist church at Leonard. She was married in 1892 to Roswell Seaton at Oxford, Mich. They came west in 1908 and settled on a ranch near Ralston. They later moved to Lamont, and resided there until the death of Mr. Seaton Feb. 20, 1931. She has since made her home with her daughter where she died Feb. 5, 1935. She leaves to mourn her passing a daughter, Mrs. S. L. Starkey of St. John, Wash.; a son, Wilson Seaton, St. Maries, Idaho; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Estella Foley, Miles City, Mont.; nine grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Snyder, Ritzville, and Mrs. Geo.
