Buried in Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Lake Forest Park, King Co., WA. She is the daughter of Emil Helge (Edward H.) Bohlin of the Village of Vinstrassa, near Örebro, Sweden, and Leana Maria Freeberg of Pompeys Pillar, Rosebud Co., MT.

Elaine Pinkerton Renberg, age 44, of Leavenworth, Wash., died March 3, 1987. She was born June 6, 1942 in Seattle, Wash. Graduated from Seattle Pacific College 1964. She was a teacher in Edmonds, Tonasket, Peshastin and Leavenworth, Wash. She was an active member of Cascade Mt. Bible Church, Leavenworth, Wash. Survivors include her husband, Peter Renberg; children, Eric and Reea Renberg, all of Leavenworth, Wash.; also her parents, Volney and Lillian Pinkerton and brother, Craig Pinkerton, all of Seattle, Wash. Funeral Service will be held, April 4, at 2 p.m., at the Church of the Nazarene, Leavenworth, Wash., Rev. Tim Heath, pastor of Cascade Mt. Bible Church, presiding.
Interment following at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society, Cascade Mt. Bible Church or Alpine Boys Ranch.

Lillian Bohlin PINKERTON

Lillian Bohlin Pinkerton, age 83 passed away October 30, 2000 after a short illness leaving behind husband Volney L. Pinkerton, son-in-law, Peter Renberg of Leavenworth, WA., five grandchildren, Eric and Renee Renberg and Lisa Pinkerton of Seattle, WA., Carmen Pinkerton Ralls and Linda Pinkerton Dall of Oregon, along with two great-grandchildren, Alicia and Elena Ralls. Lillian grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Lincoln High School, class of 1935. Her hobbies consisted of playing the piano, needlepoint, and cooking. Lillian was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held in memory of Lillian on Saturday, November 4th at 2 p.m. located at Cristwood, 350 North 190th, Shoreline, WA. Remembrances in lieu of flowers can be made to Maple Leaf Evangelical Church, Alpine Boys Ranch, Leavenworth, WA., or Crista Ministries, Seattle.

Peter Renberg, 63, of Lynnwood, a former resident of the Leavenworth area, died Monday, September 08, 2003 in Bethany at Pacific Convalescent Center in Everett. He was born on November 3, 1939 to Oscar and Edith (Johnson) Renberg at Arpen, Wisconsin. The family moved to Illinois and later to Southern California. In 1950 they moved to Duvall, Washington. In 1958 he graduated from Duvall High School. Peter then worked as a carpenter in the Seattle area and the Highlands subdivision at Issaquah. On December 26, 1965 he married Elaine M. Pinkerton at Seattle, where they made their first home. In 1967 they moved to Tonasket, where they farmed hay and operated a fruit ranch. In addition to running the farm, he continued working as a carpenter. In 1977 they moved to Plain, where he joined the staff at the Alpine Boys Ranch, where he served as Ranch Manager, until moving to Leavenworth in 1987. In Leavenworth, Peter continued working as a carpenter as well as painting houses. In 1999 he moved to Cashmere and in 2001 to Lynnwood. He was a member of the Cascade Mountain Bible Church in Leavenworth and also served in the Church board and was also a Deacon. Peter is survived by his daughter, Renee Renberg of Seattle. Son and daughter in law, Eric and Cindy Renberg of Seattle. Four sisters, Joyce Newell of Lynnwood; Romayne Leach of Mineral Bluff, Georgia; Darlene Caproni of Tucson, Arizona and Sharon Bowers of Lynnwood. Three brothers, Dave Renberg of Fresno, California; Bob Renberg of Phoenix, Arizona and Conrad Renberg of the Tri-Cities. His father in law, Volney Pinkerton. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine in March 31, 1987. The family will received friends and family on Friday, September 12, 2003, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Ward's Funeral Chapel. Private graveside service will be in the Mt. View Cemetery with Dr. Daniel Newell, PhD., officiating. A Memorial Service of Commemoration to Celebrate the Life of Peter Renberg, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, September 13, 2003 in the Cascade Mtn. Bible Church with Bob Renberg and Bryce Townley, co-officiates. Memorials may be made in his name to the Alpine Boys Ranch, 19537 Chiwawa Loop Road, Leavenworth, WA 98826 or the American Diabetes Association, Washington affiliate, 557 Roy St., Seattle, WA 98109-4219.

Volney Llewellyn Pinkerton, 96 years old, passed away on July 4, 2010. He was born April 20, 1914, in Duvall, WA to parents Leila and Roy Pinkerton. Volney is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Maki, grandchildren Carmen Pinkerton Ralls of Canby, OR, Lisa Pinkerton Connett of Gresham, OR, Linda Pinkerton Dallof of Dundee, OR, Eric Renberg of Seattle, WA, Renee Renberg of Port Orchard, WA, and seven great-grandchildren. A private family interment will be held at Acacia Memorial Park in Seattle. Friends are welcome to join the family for a memorial service celebrating Volney's life on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Cristwood Park in Shoreline.
