Anthony Joubert, New London, Dies

Funeral Services for Machinist Will be Held Tuesday

New London - Anthony Joubert, 53, 203 Wyman street, died at New London hospital at 6:30 Sunday morning after an illness of a week. He was machinist at the Borden Milk Products plant here the last 21 years. Born at Maple Creek Feb 25, 1885, Anthony Joubert came to New London with his family 22 years ago. He live in Antigo for nine years following his marriage in 1905. He served a short term in the United States army in 1918. Surviving are the widow, four daughters, Mrs. John Spencer, New London; Mrs. Arthur Nelson and Mrs. Theodore Mickle, Chicago; Mrs. Urban Fermanick, Royalton; five sons, Jay, New London, Ira, Robert, Jack and Richard, at home; one brother Edward, Hawthorne, N. J., five sisters, Mrs. Emry De Rusha, Rosholt; Mrs. Joseph Lucia, Appleton; Mrs. Carrie Clark, Chicago; Mrs. Benjamin Dempsey, Los Angeles, Calf.; Mrs. Grover Garske, Spokane, Wash; and six grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Cline and Learman Funeral home where the body will be held until that time. The Rev. R. R Holliday will conduct the services and burial will be in Floral Hill cemetery.

Richard K. Joubert

Richard K. Joubert, 72, of Mount Bethel, died May 1 in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. He was married to Evelyn F. (Fischer) Joubert for 44 years last July. A 1957 graduate of Shelton College, Ringwood, N.J., he was a teacher for Mendham Borough (N.J.) School District for 35 years before retiring in 1990. Born in New London, Wis., he was a son of the late Anthony I. and Lottie M. (Finley) Joubert. He was a member of Mount Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: Wife; son, Kenneth R. of Newton, N.J.; daughter, Leslie K. of Mount Bethel; sister, Oscie Nelson of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandsons.

Evelyn F Joubert

Mt. Bethel, PA. Mrs. Evelyn F. Joubert (82) died on April 6, 2011 at St. Claire’s Hospital in Dover. She was born in Astoria, NY and grew up in Flushing, NY. She lived in Flanders, NJ, for many years, before moving to Mt. Bethel, PA. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher in Mt. Olive Township and now a member of the Mt. Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church. Mrs. Joubert was predeceased by her husband Richard K in 2002 and is survived by her daughter Leslie Joubert of Mt. Bethel, PA, son Ken (and Irene) Joubert of Newton, Grandsons; Richard and Robert, and sisters; Patti Doughty of Walker, MN and Beth Ray of Green Valley, AZ.
