Hi, Leigh!
I hope everything is ok with you. The Summer has finally arrived to Sweden. I have found some information which I assume could be of interest for you and your website of our extended family and its history. There have been many relatives who have served the US armed forces in WW1 and WW2 etc. One of them was Clifford Lewis (1922-1990) who belonged to the Coast Guard and served on USS LCI(L)-94 on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Clifford Lewis was grandson to Gustav Larsson/Lewis (1848-1934). There is an extract from Clifford Lewis diary published on internet. I have attached it to this email together with information about "his" boat. I dont know if Clifford Lewis also took part in the campaign in Northern Africa and the landings in Sicily and Salerno 1943.
Regards, Per
