HENRY LEWIS
Henry Lewis, 61, of 818 So. Anderson St., a refrigeration mechanic who had been employed by the Coca-Cola Bottling company for 40 years, died Monday in a local hospital. He was born in Waupaca, Wis., and came to Tacoma 11 years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran church, Joseph Warren lodge 235, F. & A. M., Afifi temple of the Shrine, the Shrine band, Scottish Rite bodies and the Craftsman of Engineers. Surviving are his wife, Theresa; a son, Harold and a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Leer, all of Tacoma; six brothers, Elmer of Sumner, Albert and Irvin of Waupaca, Phillip of Paynes Point, Meenas, Wis., Reuben of Stevens Point, Wis., and Edward of New Leipzig, N. D.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Leer of Waupaca and Mrs. Clara Peterson of Menasha, Wis., and four grandchildren. Rose Croix services will be held Wednesday at 1 p. m. at the Buckley-King Funeral church. Joseph Warren lodge will officiate at graveside services at the New Tacoma cemetery.

MRS. HENRY LEWIS
Mrs. Henry (Theresa V.) Lewis, 69, of 4821 S. D St., died Saturday in a local hospital. Born in Sundsvall, Sweden, she came to Tacoma in 1937 from Elgin, N.D. She was a member of Warren Chapter No. 178, Order of Eastern Star; Ladies of the Universal Craftsmen, Council of Engineers; and Daughters of the Nile. Survivors include a son, Harold of Ephrata; a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Bielenberg of Tacoma; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services are announced today by C. O. Lynn Co., Desired contributions may be sent to the Heart Fund.
Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Ethel was born on December 11, 1914 to Henry and Theresa Lewis in New Leipzig, North Dakota. She passed away on August 14, 2006 in Tacoma, WA. She was raised in North Dakota and lived the majority of her adult life in the North End of Tacoma, WA. Ethel was valedictorian of her graduating high school class, attended business college and worked for the City of Tacoma for many years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling south to Arizona during the winter months, volunteering for the orthopedic guild and being involved with activities at the senior center. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Glen H. Bielenberg 8/1/20 - 7/28/01 Glen was born in Uniontown, WA, to Anton Bielenberg and Martha Schumacher. After graduating from St. Boniface H. S., he served his country during WWII in the Coast Guard. He worked for the Federal Government at M.R.O.D. and McChord A.F.B., retiring in 1982. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Al Jutte; son Ronald Leer, and wife Vivian. He married Ethel Leer in 1953 and together they enjoyed almost 48 years of marriage. He is survived by his wife Ethel; daughter Donna (Dick) Wood; granddaughters Beth (Bob) Ladner and Carol (Tim) Hop; great granddaughters Brianna, Jessica and Rebecca Hop, Kristie and Molly Ladner; sisters Gen (Rey) Oenning, Tacoma; Angela Gross, Minneapolis; sister-in-law Louise Jutte and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Park Rose Care Center. If you choose, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Point Defiance Senior Center.
