MRS. ELVIRA BUSHNELL YORK, 95, OF SALAMANCA, IS DEAD

Salamanca, Aug. 18. - Mrs. Elvira Bushnell York, 95 years old, died at the home, No. 45 River street, yesterday following a stroke of apoplexy, sustained yesterday. She retired the night before, apparently in good health, after entertaining a few friends in the evening. The day before her death she made a number of calls on friends. She had lived here 18 years, coming here from Randolph and was well known. She was born in Napoli, near here, March 26, 1826. She leaves one granddaughter, Mrs. N. S. Kilby, No. 45 River street, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. D. E. Warren, spiritualist speaker of Lily Dale, will officiate. Burial will be in Randolph.
