Elizabeth Jane "Eliza" Watson was August 9, 1861, in Harwich, Kent Co., Ontario, Canada West, and died August 13, 1915, in Grand Blanc Twp., Genesee Co., MI, at age 54. First buried in Evergreen Cemetery (a/k/a Whigville Cemetery), Grand Blanc Twp., Genesee Co., MI. Later removed to South Grand Blanc Cemetery (a/k/a Halsey Cemetery), Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI. She is the daughter of William Henry Watson of Upper Canada, and Mary Searle of County Cornwall, England.

Buried in South Grand Blanc Cemetery (a/k/a Halsey Cemetery), Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI. Wyman was a Blacksmith in Flint, MI. Her father is William McComber. Lottie Gale Mccomber (age 20) and Willie C. Fletcher (age 31) were married December 23, 1897, in Grand Blanc, Genesee Co., MI. His parents are William Fletcher and Louisa Clark. Her parents are James Austin Macomber and Matilda Martha Ferris. William Fletcher died March 19, 1905, in Grand Blanc Twp., Genesee Co., MI, at age 38. He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.

Methodist religion; Franklin Watson (age 23) born in Ontario, a Laborer; Hannah Watson (age 17) born in Ontario; Emily Watson (age 15) born in Ontario; William G. Watson (age 13) born in Ontario; and Eliza J. Watson (age 10) born in Ontario.

Lottie Jane (McComber) Fletcher was born July 26, 1877, in East Saginaw, MI.

Living with him are: his wife of 2 years, Lottie J. Watson (age 32) born in Michigan to Michigan-born parents, and in her second marriage, and with the only child born to her still alive; his daughter, Bernice M. Watson (age 11/12) born in Michigan to English Canadian and Michigan-born parents; and his unmarried mother, Eliza J. Watson (age 48) born in English Canada to English Canadian and England-born parents, and having immigrated in 1880.

MRS. ELIZA WATSON DIES AT GRAND BLANC

(Special to The Daily Journal)

Grand Blanc, Mich., Aug. 14. - Mrs. Eliza Watson died here yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of her son. For the last five years she has been housekeeper for Bert Stannard, but about three weeks ago she was forced to give up and live with her son, Wyman Watson. Mrs. Watson was born in Canada 52 years ago and came to live near Grand Blanc in her girlhood. She leaves one brother George of this place, her son Wyman and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock standard time, from the M. E. Church.
