Frederick served in the New Jersey Infantry during the Civil War.

Mrs. Daisy Grill appeared in Justice Watson's court this morning and swore out a complaint against her spouse. She stated that, because she did not get up to prepare her husband's breakfast, he attacked her and kicked her five times. The warrant was given to Constable W. W. Howe to serve.

NOTICE OF SUIT BY PUBLICATION.
Said Defendant, Daisy Grill, will take notice that she has been sued in the above styled Court by Charles Henry Grill to obtain an absolute divorce from defendant on the grounds of adultery and neglect of duty, and that said defendant must answer the petition filed in said cause on or before the 28th day of October, 1909, or said petition will be taken as true, and the case will be set down for hearing at the next term of Court thereafter, and proceeded with exparate, and judgment for said plaintiff in said action for an absolute divorce will be rendered accordingly; and,
The said defendant is further notified that on Monday, October 11, 1909, the plaintiff above named will take the depositions of Joseph Busster and sundry witnesses to be used as evidence on the behalf of the plaintiff, in the trial of the above entitled cause in the above styled Court, at the office of Power & Stratton, Attorneys at Law, Hibbing, Minnesota, between the hours of 9:00 o'clock a. m. and 6:00 o'clock p. m. of said day, and that the taking of same bill be adjourned and continued from day to day at the same place and between the same hours until they are completed.

Pioneer Riverman Dies at Home on Town Ringle Farm
Dennis Robarge, 80, One of Earliest Raftsmen, Dies Yesterday
Dennis Robarge, 80, of the town of Ringle, one of the earliest settlers of Wausau and one of the most prominent among pioneer rivermen, died at his farm home yesterday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock after an illness of five weeks. Mr. Robarge, who came to Wausau sixty-two years ago, when he was eighteen years of age, took up work in the lumber camps and saw mills and was among the earliest crews of men to raft logs and lumber down the Wisconsin and Mississippi rivers. He made numerous trips to St. Louis and other points along the Mississippi and Wisconsin rivers during his long career as a rafter. He was employed by various lumber companies. He was born in Canada March 30, 1852, and came to Wausau from that country. He remained a bachelor until his marriage in Wausau to Mrs. Katherine Scott on June 10, 1914. Surviving are the widow, and a sister who resides in Rhode Island. Funeral services are to be conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock at St. James church, the Rev. E. P. O'Toole officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove cemetery.
