Isabelle Blake
Isabelle Blake, 85, of Colorado Springs, died Wednesday at her home. She was a homemaker. No services are scheduled. Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., is handling arrangements. Mrs. Blake was born July 2, 1899, in Brooklyn, N. Y. She lived in Cayucos, Calif., before moving to Colorado Springs. She was married to Burdine Blake, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Philip of Colorado Springs, and two grandchildren.
Phillip Rodman Blake died July 10, 1992, at a local hospital, Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., CO, at age 61.

OBITUARIES
PHILLIP R. BLAKE, 61, of Colorado Springs died July 10, 1992, at a local hospital. He served in the U.S. Army before his retirement. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain and Union boulevards, with the Rev. Myron A. Eichner officiating. There will be cremation. Mr. Blake was born Oct. 25, 1930, in San Francisco to Burdine and Isabella (Phillips) Blake. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1974, attaining the rank of staff sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Blake had been a resident of the area since 1974 and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He was married Feb. 29, 1972, in Mannheim, Germany, to Ilse Schmid, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Julie Ann Brommer of Fort Collins; two sons, Jerome of Colorado Springs and Kelly of Springfield, Tenn.; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Wolford Elementary School in Black Forest.
