Divorce Hazel to Marriage Bessie

I found a Divorce was granted Jan 21, 1911, to Hazel and Alex.

I sort of got interested in following the Nephew family as early as 1901 in the Hastings City Directory. I find Sarah Nephew running various Hastings Hotels while Alexander Sr. did maintenance and/or cooked. Alexander Jr. generally had a room in the hotel where he was known as pantorium or suitatorium. 1906-1907 his cleaners was known as Alexander Matthews.

1908 Jr. and Hazel are renting a room at the hotel at 609 W 2nd St and in 1910 Alex Jr. and Hazel are renting Rooms at 319 N St. Joe Ave. I never find Bessie living in Hastings with Alexander Jr. However, in 1917 the City Directory mentions Alex Jr. moved to Fairbury, Nebraska. I wonder if this is when he gets married to Bessie Abbey? There is a 1920 Census and 1930 Census for them in Fairbury, Nebraska. City Directories don't always list people even if they are in town so in 1932, there is no listing for Nephew. But in 1935 Alexander Jr. is back living with his parents at 2000 W 5th and is up until the last 1944 where he is listed as a Presser working for Hoff Brothers Cleaners.

Alexander A. "Alex" Nephews Jr. (age 21), a bachelor, and Hazel E. Lapp Hill (age 16), a maiden, were married August 14, 1903, in Denver, Denver Co., CO.
