Jemima Jane Stoneking was born November 22, 1870, near Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., IA, and died December 15, 1889, in Ida Co., IA, at age 19. She is the daughter of James B. Stoneking of Dunkard Twp., Greene Co., PA, and Sarah Ellen Scott of Linn Co., IA. She is buried in Battle Center Cemetery, Ida Co., Ia.

She is the daughter of Thomas Monroe Blake of Martinsburg, Bedford (Blair) Co., PA, and Mary Ella Barkman of near Hagerstown, Washington  Co., MD.
